Apply Now! – Online NGO Management Certificate Course

As part of the Civil Society Regional Development Project which is funded by the European Union, the Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) is happy to announce that we are partnering with the University of the West Indies, Open Campus, to launch the online NGO Management Certificate Course. It consists of two courses which are MGMT 073: Essentials of NGO Management and MGMT 074: Developing and Managing Projects in NGOs. There will be three cycles of the course with the first one commencing in August 2017. The course is scholarship based; there would be no cost to the participants. All successful candidates will be required to supply a letter of endorsement upon acceptance into the programme.

The course will be conducted only through distant/online modalities. The participants have to be based in the CARIFORUM region and affiliated with a NGO.

Call for Concept Notes – ACCESS TO SMALL GRANTS

The Caribbean Policy Development Centre in partnership with the European Union (EU) is implementing a joint 3-year grant partnership that seeks to build the capacity of the Non-Governmental Sector in the Caribbean through the implementation of a number of specific actions.

CPDC invites NGO organisations and active networks to apply for a small grant which would aid vulnerable groups throughout the region. CPDC will provide technical assistance upon request. Kindly see attached Call for Concept Notes. Only short listed applicants will be contacted.

We have conducted most of our surveys but require assistance collating the data for analysis. Against this background, we are looking for a competent individual to assist with this action.

Call for Applications – Consultant Project Administrator

The Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) in partnership with Pro NGO! e.V is seeking to undertake an 18-month grant partnership under the European Commission (EC) that seeks to promote sustainable livelihoods among Eastern Caribbean farmers. Under this partnership, the Project will be implemented in three (3) Caribbean countries. It is in this context that the Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) is seeking to recruit a Consultant Project Administrator.

EXTENDED APPLICATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – Civil Society Consultative Working Group (CCWG)

Request for submission of an expression of Interest by Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to confirm willingness to become a member of the Civil Society Consultative Working Group (CCWG).

The Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC), a regional umbrella organisation for Caribbean Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), is leading a process to establish the CCWG to inform the development of policy advocacy positions of Non-Governmental Organisations NGOs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the Caribbean.

The CCWG is intended to serve as a consultative mechanism that provides NGOs and CSOs with an opportunity to have input into the regional policy-making process by bringing their experiences at the sectoral and national levels to influence regional policy dialogue.
